New rehearsal images from Kenneth Branagh’s latest project show the actor demonstrating his many artistic skills – which include tap-dancing.

The production will run at the Garrick Theatre in London’s West End from August 20 until November 12.

The play is set against the backdrop of post-war Britain and Kenneth takes on the role of Archie Rice. Written by playwright John Osborne, it is considered to be a modern classic.

'The Entertainer' will also broadcast live to theatres in the UK and internationally on October 27. It is being directed by Rob Ashford. Rob previously co-directed 'The Winter’s Tale' with Kenneth, who also took a leading role alongside Dame Judi Dench.
