Reshoots for Marvel Studios' much-anticipated THOR is reportedly set to begin soon, including call-backs for prominent roles, as well as specified roles for extras.

According to What's Playing, Marvel Studios' Kenneth Branagh-directed THOR movie, which has been in post-production for about five months now, is heading back in front of cameras for reshoots. These reshoots reportedly will not only call-back the prominent cast members, but casting agents are swiftly searching for extras to take the following roles to fill a couple of new scenes.

NORDIC MEN: No Lines, charactery faces, SAG scale, must have a SAG Card.
NORDIC WOMEN: No Lines, charactery faces, SAG scale, must have a SAG Card.
NORDIC CHILDREN: 10-12. No Lines, charactery faces, SAG scale, must have a SAG Card

There is no official word on what exactly will be filmed or how thorough the reshoots will be, but evidently they'll include large crowds. And being that editing has been underway for at least five months, as well the 3-D conversion, director Kenneth Brangh & Marvel must have a rough edit completed. And these reshoots could just make an improvement, so no need to worry.

Anyhow, starring Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, and Jaime Alexander, who hinted at reshoots some time ago claiming she had to get back in her "Sif" physique via twitter, THOR strikes into theaters May 6, 2011 in 3D!
