'The Hollywood Masters' Unveils Season 2 Lineup, Premiere Date

Hosted by THR’s Stephen Galloway, the second season will feature Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Sorkin and more. Netflix has announced the premiere date and the lineup for the second season of 'The Hollywood Masters'.

On March 15, 13 episodes will stream on Netflix, all moderated by THR’s executive features editor, Stephen Galloway. The show takes an in-depth look at industry leaders’ careers and lives. This season, he’ll sit down with Oscar, Emmy and other award-winning creators in front of an audience of film and television students.

Kenneth Branagh, Jerry Bruckheimer, Ken Burns, Bobby and Peter Farrelly (Loudermilk), Jane Fonda, William Friedkin (The Exorcist), Damon Lindelof (Lost, The Leftovers), Gary Ross (Pleasantville, Hunger Games), David O. Russell (American Hustle), John Singleton (Boyz in the Hood), Aaron Sorkin, Hilary Swank and Hans Zimmer will each have an in-depth discussion with Galloway as part of the series.

'Hollywood Masters' is filmed on Loyola Marymount University’s campus, using a crew primarily comprised of LMU students and alumni.

“We are very proud of the success of 'The Hollywood Masters' program,” said Stephen Ujlaki, dean of the School of Film and Television, in a statement. “Not only do our students get a chance to interact with these giants in the industry in an intimate campus setting, but it provides an incredible opportunity for our students and alumni to demonstrate their skills and expertise gaining real world experience running a professional production.”

'The Hollywood Masters' is produced by Galloway, Ujlaki and Anay Tarnekar. All 13 episodes of the second season stream on Netflix on March 15, 2018.
